International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Service organized by RRC FAC
The Red Ribbon Club, Fazl Ali College, organized the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Service in collaboration with YWCA, DAPCU, TI-NGOs and NMP+ under the theme “We Remember, We Take Action, We Live Beyond HIV” on 15th May, 2022 at the College Campus. Dr. Supongmeren, Senior Specialist, IMDH, spoke about the significance of the day narrating the history behind the memorial service and elaborated on the theme. Mr. Temsu, Member, NMP+ gave his testimony and encouraged people to avoid discrimination and stigma among the people living with HIV/AIDS. The Program ended with the lighting of candles and a special prayer for the people infected with HIV/AIDS. About 350 people from different organizations and colleges participated in the memorial service.
